Cournoyer has an impressive record for identifying emerging talent within the contemporary art world.  He’s championed artists like Joe Bradley, Wade Guyton, Seth Price, Kerstin Bartsch, Sterling Ruby, Gedi Sibony, Jana Euler and Kelley Walker at the outset of their careers, and continues to support today’s most promising talents.  His knowledge of contemporary art extends to influential artists from the early 20th century to the post-war period. He’s cultivated relationships with the most important and dynamic contemporary art galleries in New York from the Lower East Side and Chelsea to the Upper East Side.  He also works with many European galleries.

In addition to his advisory work, Cournoyer has curated gallery exhibitions in Paris and New York City.
